David Pagan has been creating music for theatre performances since 2001. Integrating playful live and recorded music and sound design in all manner of theatre genres.

 

After studying Actor/Musicianship in Rose Bruford College London, David went on to do exactly that. First as a founding member, performer and musical director of the internationally acclaimed theatre ensemble NIE and then moving his base from London to Hamburg, then to Stuttgart to continue his work as a freelance Composer, Performer and Theater Creator.

 

His work has been performed on nearly all continents of the globe and his working life has taken him high up mountains, far across oceans, deep in many dark studio theater spaces and closer and closer to many wonderful humans beings.

 

David is interested in collaborative processes exploring playful and surprising uses of music and sound, live and recorded, in the creation of performance.
